Organization is going through a digital transformation which brought on it’s own set of challenges. Testing and research was not part of the process and each team didn’t follow a particular process.

Making sure vendors, developers and any external folks abide by the standards set
Pushing new updates back into the design system in a manner that wont interrupt previous designs

Allow each team to build web based and native apps in a consistent and reusable approach
Rapid creation of screens for proof of concepts and testing with users
Show proper usage and interactions of each component
